Gaurav Sinha Ray joined the theoretical physics group at Plymouth University in September 2018. He has a BSc degree in Physics from Imperial College and MSc Physics (with Distinction) from University College London. His MSc project was: Quark vs Gluon Tagging using Jet Images and Weakly Trained Classifiers.
He is studying for a PhD in theoretical physics in the area of lattice QCD, which is funded by STFC. His research projects will focus on the spectroscopy of novel hadrons made from charm and bottom quarks. He is a member of the HPQCD collaboration.
