DESCRIPTION:“Implementation of a LBM for multiphase flows with high density ratios” \nAbstract: The Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) for multiphase flow simulation with high density ratios has been developed to study complex problems such as wave breaking and dam breaking flows. In this model\, the motion of the interface between fluids is modelled by solving the Cahn-Hilliard (CH) equation with LBM. We use a unified LBM approach with separate formulations for (i) the phase field\, (ii) the pressureless Naiver-Stokes (NS) equations\, and (iii) correction of the pressureless velocity field. In this seminar\, we will present a brief overview of the method\, plus result for two-fluid Poiseuille flow and preliminary computations of stationary bubbles.
