Rare B decay form factorsfrom lattice QCD
In the past decade, unquenched lattice QCD calculations have increasingly
helped to test CKM unitarity. While work continues to further improve the
precision of these tests, another avenue of exploration is opening up: rare
B decays. As LHC experiments more precisely measure FCNC decays, such as B
to K* plus either a photon or a lepton–anti-lepton pair, new theory
calculations are needed to test the Standard Model. This talk will present
ongoing unquenched lattice calculations of B to K* and Bs to phi form
factors.
