Title: Lattice Boltzmann Modelling of Two-Dimensional Flow in Micro-Channel by Using Moment Boundary Conditions
Abstract: The Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) has been developed and used to simulate fluid flow problems for a various geometries and boundary conditions. In this seminar, I will present results obtained using a Lattice Boltzmann (LB) model to simulate rarefaction and compressibility effects for two-dimensional flow in a micro-channel. Moment boundary conditions are used to implement Navier-slip boundary conditions on walls and pressure boundaries are used to drive the flow. For the simulations, we use a second-order single relaxation time model and investigate convergence behaviour of the model.
