Simulating dipole wall collisions with slip boundaries by using moment-based boundary conditions for lattice Boltzmann method.
Abstract: The accuracy of moment-based boundary conditions for no slip and slip walls in the lattice
Boltzmann method is examined numerically by using dipole wall collision for both normal and
oblique cases. To do that hydrodynamic moments impose to the boundary instead of the
distribution functions. For accurate results a two relaxation time (TRT) model are used with moment
boundary conditions. An excellent agreement with a benchmark data is obtained and the results are
obtained to converge with second order accuracy.
