A Bayesian approach to Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics
I will discuss the success of Bayesian methods in fitting results from numerical simulations of the theory of the strong force. Since we are trying to achieve stringent tests of the Standard Model of particle physics, the method is important in enabling us to quantify the errors in a controlled way.
